I'm really starting to enjoy Pinot Noir as a grape variety. It's usually softer and less tannic than Merlot. I had no idea it was such a fussy grape to grow until I watched Sideways the other day with Goldmill. Strange movie, my favorite part was the wallet scene and him running 5 clicks and through an ostrich farm to boot!
I have a few more notes on other wines. You can tell that I'm getting better at tasting when I start adding in notes about alcohol content, acidity, and body.
Who knows, I may even start to like red wine.
